Having checked several sources - rather than relying on memory (clearly affected by much sci-fi reading and watching) everything Disembodied says is spot on - however, all the sites I checked confirm one thing - don't hold your breath - potentially very bad - breathe out (counter-intuitive but life saving) and pray the Heart of Gold picks you up...

Or make sure you keep a RemLock close to hand at all times. Like when I am attempting to dock.....

Err, don't think it would be the pressure I would really be worried about but the wether I remembered to put on the wooly socks and thermal undies for the shade and sunblock factor 4billion for sunny bits 8)

But really, it'd be the best to remain onboard. Like they say for sailing, you are always better off on the ship than in the life raft, unless the deck is underwater...
