Having checked several sources - rather than relying on memory (clearly affected by much sci-fi reading and watching) everything Disembodied says is spot on - however, all the sites I checked confirm one thing - don't hold your breath - potentially very bad - breathe out (counter-intuitive but life saving) and pray the Heart of Gold picks you up...

Or make sure you keep a RemLock close to hand at all times. Err, don't think it would be the pressure I would really be worried about but the wether I remembered to put on the wooly socks and thermal undies for the shade and sunblock factor 4billion for sunny bits
