wiki and BB running costs

I appreciate that oolite is free, but there must be costs - server hardware, data transfer etc. - involved in hosting the wiki and bb. I was wondering if we (the community) could make donations to the upkeep.

I would happily throw in a $ € £ ¥ ₩ or two to help things along if there were a call for it. The admiral in charge of PayPal would have to set up a telethon or something. Trumbles In Need.

There is in fact a Donate button on the old Oolite site. This covers BB costs only. I didn’t put it on the new site because I intended to move the BB somewhere else, but forgot about it. It’s still under consideration.

The question is, how much is a Cr worth in USD if you can buy a ton of food with 3-5 cr, or a working spaceship capable of rapid interstellar travel for 30,000cr?
