Welcome to a rather select club - there are just 15 of us!
Of course some of us have been members much longer than others (although I did take a year off when my 2nd baby turned up) - I was 12th in the total postings list - but Eric W took the opportunity while I was on my Xmas vacation to leap-frog me once more.

And I notice that there are now three names above and beyond our absent Master and Commander, congrats Ahruman, Commander McLane and LittleBear.DaddyHoggy wrote:Welcome to a rather select club - there are just 15 of us!

Thanks! I didn't particularly celebrate the occasion, although I sent LittleBear a congrats-PM at the time. He probably didn't particularly celebrate as well.Captain Hesperus wrote:And I notice that there are now three names above and beyond our absent Master and Commander, congrats Ahruman, Commander McLane and LittleBear.

And what about you yourself? I think I must've left you behind somewhere in the 1700's.

Bah, I've had intermittent, but virulent, bouts of RL. Getting worse, too.Commander McLane wrote:And what about you yourself? I think I must've left you behind somewhere in the 1700's.

As everyone here seems to be in their 1000s, perhaps it's time to unveil the newest self-help group:

My name is DaddyHoggy - and I spend so much time on the forums and failing to get the linux version of 1.72 installed that I don't have time to actually play oolite!
I do have immense fun adding adverts to YAH though...

Jan 4th I officially finish at Uni and then I shall be considered a Graduate Nurse. About three weeks later I get the PI number that marks me as a Registered Nurse. Then I can be a qualified nurse.DaddyHoggy wrote:@Cap'n H - are you a qualified yet? (in RL - you'll never be qualified in for anything in the Ooniverse! )
And I am qualified in the Ooniverse - I'm a graduate of the Lave Academy of Interspecies and Intergalactic Trade.

LAoIaAT? ah yes, the organisation formerly known as Lave Academy of Commerce Trade Agreements Treaties and Enterprise (LACTATE)
Good luck on your near-imminent Graduation (and if I remember correctly a spanky-new PC?)

Yes, a much-needed infusion of monetary credit units from the maternal parental unit allowed the purchase of this recent electronic do-hickey which I have yet to break....DaddyHoggy wrote:Good luck on your near-imminent Graduation (and if I remember correctly a spanky-new PC?)

Well, well ... young Padawan, that is exactly what the dork side of the farce would make you do!

See you at Achenar Secundus *puts on Benulobiweed glasses*

Reviving this thread because of ...
My 2000th posting!
The first thousand took a year and eight months ... the second thousand just took eight months! Anyone see a pattern here?
This game really is addictive ... has brought me off Eve and the X series, and has made me actually produce something gamey instead of just consuming it.
