screenshot button

The reference sheet claims that the screenshot button is *, but in reality it is Shift-8.

I guess the US keyboard has the asterisk at Shift-8, but not all keyboards do...

A minor thing, but kept me wondering as I was trying to take screenies for my article...

Really? I use the * key on the keypad. Shift-8 (left parenthesis) does nothing. Shift-' (*) works.

Most of Oolite’s controls are bound by textual value, or a combination of text and modifier keys. Possibly this is different to some extent in the SDL builds, though.

Ok, but where going captured screenshots? I've pressed "*", and SHIFT+8, but I can't find any captured screenshots...
