Just to let you all know:

Whatever the problem was, shutting down and restarting the 'puter solved it. Everything's back to normal.

(And I really could've earlier thought about that... )

Not that i´m going to start a Windows vs Mac war...

Windows(vista 32 bit), does handle graphical glitches, and graphical lock ups quite well these days... however it is slower than say XP... (that is more error prone)

I even managed to work without connections to the hard drives for 2 mins yesterday... (the power plug died).... i´m amazed that was even possible, allthough i cant see how that could be worth anything.. it just shows how stable it has become

Now all i need is for ATI to figure why all theire drivers does not work for my HIS ATI HD 2600, while the drivers provided by HIS does... , only they are 4 versions behind ATI´s version number,

That goes for numourous other 3rd party Vendors...
