I have noticed in OXP wiki that the external view oxp is not required for this version, are the keys still the same?
I would like to know so i could create my own screenshots.

Yes, they are still the same (explanation in the wiki).
The reason for externalviews.oxp not to be required anymore is that better external views have been implemented into the game itself since 1.70. So the only thing the OXP does after that is killing the better views and replacing them with slightly less good ones.
