Game intro sequence?

Post by gogz69 »

Games on the market these days, when purchased & installed starts off with a usually slick & sexy intro as a teaser to the game proper.
Just a thought if anyone has looked deeper into this as it would be very interesting to see.
If they already exist, please give us a pointer as to where.

cheers.

Would be cool!

I'd love the ability to be able to export scenes from the game as movies.

Eg. Set up an OXP, create a fight, jump from viewpoint to viewpoint and have the result exported as an AVI/QT or similar. Used to do this as an educational thing with some astronomy software, (Starry Night I think) and the original Quake engine...

Cheers,

Drew.

Game intro sequence?

What about using Griff's latest artwork from the screenshots board? (very nice eye candy if animated :D )
I own a copy of "Dawn Of War" & was blown away with the intro on that one.
I was thinking of something like that, a very dark & gritty raw feel to it.
Some heavy rock music with it too.
Who knows, a kinda LOTRs witch king & aliens movie mix style?
Yeah, now that would be WELL COOL!
Let me know if you think the same way folks.

Cheers,
