Hi guys,
Is it possible to have an external view of my ship whilst flying.
If so what keys do I need to press.
I have version 1.71.2.

Greetings, Captain Taylor! If the ship is one of the native ships from Oolite, i.e. not an OXP ship, then pressing the 'v' button should bring up the external views. If it's an OXP ship and the 'v' button doesn't work you can get the 'External Views' OXP and graft in one of the native ship views (not sure where it goes, I'm actually sneaking this in from work!).

P.S. Welcome to the Friendliest Board This Side of Reidquat! Would you like a cute and fluffy companion to see you through the long trading journeys? Only Cr30?

;)

Hi, Captain Tylor, and a warm welcome from my side as well!

It would help to know which ship you are flying. Anyway, as Hesperus pointed out, the default key for switching to external views (and scrolling through ten different perspectives(!), by the way) is "V".

Have fun! :D

Thanks for that Captain.

Good to hear you're enjoying my small contributions to Oolite, it's not on a par with all the awesome OXP and techy goodness that goes into the game, but you do what you can.

Mutabilis will be coming out week by week until mid November-ish, ten chapters in all.

Cheers,

Drew.

I don't know why, but some captains don't like them. They catch one from their cargo bay, put it in a empty canister and eject the canister.
Bad trader mentality, they better try to sell them at the nearest station.

I dunno, you'd have to be evil to write an OXP that amongst other things puts one in a cargo container

Has it been established at any point which planet is the original home of the Trumbles? Or are they some kind of genetically engineered annoyance?

Cheers,

Drew.
