Website website oh where for out thou website, to many to mention, to few of value to this topic for the moment
The Spam Assassins are on idle lately, but at the height of the Great Spam Invasions, NOT putting a website before having a few posts was a sound survival strategy for the newbies...
"For the man who fought, peace always seems stale."
"PTSD? Nah, it's just the 1000 yard stare!"
You know those who, having been mugged and stabbed, fired, dog run over, house burned down, wife eloped with best friend, daughters becoming prostitutes and their countries invaded - still say that "all is well"?
I'm obviously not one of them.

They're still trying to fix all the ornamental lawns that Uncle Reno's mortar tore up....
And they're still finding lumps and chunks of dismembered Spammer all through the bamboo forests, Maegil.
So far, the Renegades of Spam haven't found a way past the field of automated missile turrets. But eventually they will - they're quite persistent buggers, you know. Then it'll be a call to battle stations at the ol' clock tower again, and more patrolling the perimeter. Till then, keep the sidearms polished, charged, loaded, ect.

The old 'Light .50' is happily ensconced on her shelf. I call her 'Edina', as in 'Spammer's Edina (head-in-a) million pieces'.
My friend, you're far more merciful than they deserve.
Force them to eject, then capture their escape pod.
Slowly, very slowly, fill the capsule with an industrial solvent.
Before they agonizingly dissolve into goo, tell them that you'll hunt down their remaining relatives and treat them to the same fate...except for the spammer's mother, who will be sold as a sex slave to a slimy toad.
Then eject the former spammer out the aft airlock as a warning to others.

Nice, just one problem with that. If you eject them into space, what's the likelihood that anyone would see them? If, however, you perform a traumatic craniotomy at extreme range, then other Spammers would note the object lesson. Indeed, it would likely be spattered across their "Kiss the Spammer" t-shirts and floating in their glasses of 'Spammer-ade'.
A thought - the current "list of all OXPs" (this one - a little way down the page) is getting rather large and unwieldy to add to, especially if you take the effort to keep the background colouring alternate per entry (something I've gone through and redone a couple of times when bored).
So what I was wondering was would this benefit from breaking down a bit into seperate tables? For example All OXPs (A-E), All OXPs (F-K), all OXPs (L-T) and All OXPs (U-Z) or somesuch? All four tables listed in place of the current single one, so just as easy to use but less work to maintain (hopefully!)?
Is it possible under the Wiki structure, and something that people may find useful?
That's already done for the most part under separate lists at the bottom of the page (although it's not automagically populated from the main list, and not everyone remembers to update the little lists).
I was specifically meaning the big general list of everything.
I’d once again suggest that the easiest way is to add a page for each OXP and let the category system maintain the lists. A bunch of repetitive work up front, followed by a system that maintains itself and doesn’t fall apart when people get bored.
If doing that, I’d add a {{Oolite-OXP-stub}} template so that a page with code like:

Sounds like a plan. One question though, is there a unified list of Categories anywhere (here or on the Wiki) so we know what to put the OXPs into? Just to save multiple lists springing up...?
I see the ones linking off your Oolite_expansion_packs above, but there seems to be some surprising (or perhaps not so) inconsistency between the sub-category namings, especially Equipment? That one also doesn't seem to be a sub-category of the main one?
Also can I request the addition of Weapon_OXPs as a sub-category, as I presume that's beyond normal user control? (not that I know how the category set-up works behind the scenes).
