I can't force a misjump

Post by Commander Mysenses »

What am I doing wrong? Never managed it yet.

I bin diving hard just before zero, but to no avail. I spent a whole session just jumping back and forth trying slightly different timings.

Using v.1.72 if that makes a difference.

Oops, I meant v.1.71.2 under WinXP if that is important.

I always thought you pulled up hard rather than diving - if it makes a difference - I'm not equipped at the moment to deal with a mis-jump forced or otherwise! (full speed as well I seem to recall)

Ha.
Thanks for that, worked first time. I was labouring under the impression that either worked.
Unfortunately, having arrived in witchspace the prog immediately locked up. I waited a long ol' time before resorting to the two finger salute. Will try same without any oxps.

Found the culprit... System Redux. Has this conflict already been flagged up?

Yes. I think a solution is also ready. Problem is adding planets in witchspace. That gives this result and redux possibly also tries to do so.
