I nominate a turret encrusted 'starfish' as the next step in Thargoid belligerence.

As for bugs in "Thargorn Threat", I can't recall any.
Sure there were some problems created by the way thargoids were implemented.

1 trouble of the thargoids attacking each other.
2 thargons not recognising any non-standard Thargoid Warship as controll.
The same problems occured with the carrier.

IIRC the first role-related issue was fixed quite a while back to be friendly towards any 'Tharg*'.
The second umm... should have been fixed too.

Oh, there is a huge "next step in Thargoid belligerence" in the making. :)

It is called Cataclysm.oxp (working title), is "by far the best mission pack ever made for Oolite" (quote of a well-known board-member who had a sneak preplay), and will continue the storyline of the two built-in missions you had the honour to do for Her Imperial Majesty's Space Navy. (And players of Thargoid Wars and Thorgon Threat will also meet some "good old friends".)

You will re-meet the characters you are familiar with (and a couple of new ones, of course), and re-visit the places you have been to (and a couple of new ones, of course).

It will feature a new model by Griff (and one giant one by yours truly, if I get around texturing it to my liking (and if its main feature will work at all in-game - board-members who are familiar with the term "deathburger" may take a guess what this main feature is  )), and some ingenious scripting by Eric Walch (and a humble little of mine, although I can't compete).

Okay, enough teasing. Back to work! :D

Hard to say, especially as I have loads of work to do in RealLife™ in the next couple of weeks.

So I can't really make any promises.

Keep your fingers crossed.
