What type of processor does your Mac have?

Post by JensAyton »

Another Mac-specific poll to give me an idea of what we’re targeting. (You can find out what sort of processor you have by selecting About This Mac from the Apple menu. In case of multiple Macs, select the “worst” one you actually use Oolite on.)

Damn! I didn't read your comments until after I'd put my vote in!!

I also have both a G4 and G5 Mac that I play Oolite on.
Very funny, Scotty, now beam down my clothes...

G5 mac mini

G5 mac mini
... has a bit of trouble sometimes; brief pauses in play, and the fan goes mad near planets and suns (maybe the computer is role-playing that it's too hot?!)

Are you sure? As far as I’m aware, such a thing does not exist. :-)

There were two models of G4 Mac Mini, before the range was re-launched with Intel processors. But no G5 Mini...

As for me, I play Oolite on a Mac Mini with a 1.66GHz Core Duo.
