I have just starting playing oolite again after an unusually long hyper-sleep and have d.loaded oolite 1.7 and placed the relevant files into my oolite oxp folder. Is this the right place to place the file? Grateful for any answers.

The folder for your OXPs is called "AddOns".

thanks - managed to sort it out anyway but was a bit trigger happy with the bulletin board and went to that before putting brain into gear!

great! got v1.7 in place and it ran but crashed more often than a noobie trying to dock at a coriolis station. grrr..
