Can anyone tell me what the station is in the very first screenshot at the above link please? I've been looking through wiki and can't seem to find it. Is it in a particular oxp?

Cheers..

It's Griff's trader outpost. He probably hasn't got round to putting it in the wiki, but here's a link to it:
trader outpost

Have a look at the shaders outpost thread inside the expansion pack forum, it starts slow, but from page 9 onwards there quite a few treats from Griff!
Hey, free OXPs: farsun v1.05 & tty v0.5! :0)

Brilliant thanks. :D

I'm new here and new to Oolite, I'm also a member of a fair few forums. I'd be hard pressed to find any other where members are so quick and helpful with replies!

I'm a total wiki n00b, i've got a log in account and everything, but i've been worried i might break something so i haven't tried uploading any pages - is there a 'how to upload to wikis' guide available anywhere? (now i've said this there's probably one on the wiki isn't there)
edit: ah yes, here it is http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Wikipe ... ng_content

It's actually fairly easy. You just click on "Upload files" in the toolbox on the left side of the screen, and follow the instructions (choose the file you want to upload from your harddisk, probably write a short commentary, and off you go).

It is perhaps a little bit more tricky to correctly link to the uploaded file, basically because there is more than one way to do it. But if you look at the source code of other links (by clicking on "edit" on top of each page), you can just c&p how others did it.

EDIT: This of course only applies to uploading files (like OXPs), pictures or something else. For creating and editing pages you have already found the tutorial.

You could also Griff just add (by typing) an entry for your OXPs to the Wiki OXP page (open it up with edit and you'll get the idea) and link to the Box download page. This is what I've done with mine. Its a shame that so many really nice stations and ships are not easily available. A quick tweak to your WIP OXPs would get them into the game. Really just giving the Trader Outpost the dodec's role would be enough so it replaced some of the Native Dodecs. The Griff Kraits could just get the pirate or escort role and so on. There is a Meg limit to what you can directly upload to the Wiki (and I think many of yours might be over it), but a page just describing it with a link to the box site and a link on the main OXP page would be just as good!

OXPS : The Assassins Guild, Asteroid Storm, The Bank of the Black Monks, Random Hits, The Galactic Almanac, Renegade Pirates can be downloaded from the Elite Wiki here.

Yeah, i do tend to flit annoyingly between ideas leaving previous stuff unfinished. right, armed with my new wiki uploading guide and my iron resolve i'm going to get the kraits & trader outpost finished!

It's a modified version of the griff_shady_station (with ads removed), if Griff agrees I'll make it available.

@ CaptKev
do you want any of the station models in obj format so you can edit them easier? i think i have a version of it somewhere in my backup folder where the model doesn't have that ring of ads halfway up the side of the hull, i can also upload the textures without their alpha channels so you can adapt them easier if you want

Thanks Griff, that would be great. Do you want me to PM you with the location to upload them to?

Griff, I'm probably being a bit cheeky here, but is there any chance of having the UV map for your dodo station?
