Post by dune »

after being saddened that oolite wouldnt run on my old win me machine, and knowing that it never would i drifted away from here. But i never forgot oolite :)

recently i bought a new machine and in due course i returned to download the latest version and take a step back into the spirit of elite.

the purpose of this thread is simply to say thankyou to all of you who have worked on oolite and to say that i have had a real blast playing and taking my first steps toward elite status after so many years (i played it on the bbc micro when it first came out)

the game plays very smoothly and looks stunning. many thanks. dune

Cheers, mate, and may the docking bays be wide and profitable!
You know those who, having been mugged and stabbed, fired, dog run over, house burned down, wife eloped with best friend, daughters becoming prostitutes and their countries invaded - still say that "all is well"?
I'm obviously not one of them.
