Oolite test release 1.71.1

Post by JensAyton »

Oolite test release 1.71.1 is now available from GURPO. This is a bug-fix update to 1.71. The updater can be applied to 1.65 and the test release series up to 1.71 (specifically, version 1.65, 1.67, 1.67.1, 1.68, 1.69, 1.69b, 1.69.1, 1.69.1.1, 1.69.1.2, 1.70 and 1.71).

Changes between Oolite 1.71 and Oolite 1.71.1:
  • Fixed hang when entering interstellar space.
  • Cloaking device mission now works.
  • Credit quantities now display correctly on big-endian systems (such as
    PowerPC Macs).
  • Fixed problem with double-clicking on load/save screen.
  • Growl mode strings can now be localized (Mac OS X only).

I don't know why, but StuffIt Expander crashes on both of these files for me..

Edit: I am using StuffIt Expander 9.0.1, if that has anything to do with it.

StuffIt Expander has always been bad at handling zip files, but you might benefit from upgrading to the latest version (12.something) or, if you’re using OS X 10.4 or 10.5, throwing it away and using the superior in-built archive tool. (That doesn’t work if you actually find yourself dealing with StuffIt files in this day and age, but you can always download Expander again.)

I used the built-in 10.4 archive tool and it worked fine. Thanks! Never had this before...
