Uploading images to wiki

Ok, I was going to add the images from the HUD thread to the Oolite wiki. I just got an account there. But I have to upload the image files to the wiki first. Is there a specific naming convention we use?

I was going to prefix all hud images with "hud". So one image would be "hudWolfwood.png".

Also, all images I just grabbed are either jpg or png.

My next task would be to get images of ships and post those to the wiki.

Edit: All images I work on will be 640x480. Not everyone has a 96 inch monitor and their browser set to maximized.

Edit: I will resize all images I use to 640x480 when I grab them. Thanks.

That looks like the Fighter HUD. I was looking for the NG hud, listed in the wiki OXP page, in the "HUD" group.

I'd suggest using one of the images in this thread for Wolfwood's HUD. Noting, of course, that the HUDs in my package are all personalised for the ships in question (different colours and ship images).

Don't worry. I'll resize all images to 640x480 when I grab them.

PNG gives a nicer quality than JPG. If you open up the screenshot from Oolite with a standard Pic editor (like paint) you can just trim it and resize it before saving and upload. I think the Wiki will accept pics in either format, but PNG looks nicer.
