Hmmm, don't you think that by the time of Oolite we(!?!) are more likely to look back on unforgettable oldies like Halo 634, and Gran Turismo MCLXXVII???Ace Garp wrote:Well I like it
I think it's probably OK to advertise free software like MAME too.
Also thought that by the time of Elite, MAME might be allowing us to play oldies like Halo 2, and Gran Turismo 4, etc

I just thought of something... Shouldn't the YAH material be banned on communist systems, along with the Black Monks?
You know those who, having been mugged and stabbed, fired, dog run over, house burned down, wife eloped with best friend, daughters becoming prostitutes and their countries invaded - still say that "all is well"?
I'm obviously not one of them.

Now that's a nice idea!Cmdr. Maegil wrote:I just thought of something... Shouldn't the YAH material be banned on communist systems, along with the Black Monks?
Although - would the Commies also be happy about us capitalist scum coming in to corrupt the place with the evils of free-market trading?
Still, I do like your idea

Don't mistake capitalism and trade; even communists understand the need to create, and trade their production surpluses for otherwise unavailable commodities...Ace Garp wrote:Although - would the Commies also be happy about us capitalist scum coming in to corrupt the place with the evils of free-market trading?Cmdr. @TGHC: Russia isn't communist, and China oly claims to be as to better exploit is masses... better yet, let's not go that way!

The serfs can make do with potatoes and rice
Communism - great idea, but almost impossible to put into practise.
