Trumble trading is one of the native missions... well, not really a mission. As it goes, Hesperus' character went from shady trader and part-time scavenger, to seedy smuggler and closet pirate, ending up as trumble pusher (and proud of it).

But that's only on the boards. The game doesn't give you the chance to pass your superfluous trumbles (or to fit the buggers on missiles :wink: ).
If you want a multicoloured Trumble, you can simply spray them yourself...

Finally: zimmemic25, there are people from all over the world in this board, speaking all sorts of different languages. If we all spoke them here, the board would become a Babel Tower... All good for translating the game, but please keep your posts in English (se não for muito inconveniente, é claro :P ).
You know those who, having been mugged and stabbed, fired, dog run over, house burned down, wife eloped with best friend, daughters becoming prostitutes and their countries invaded - still say that "all is well"?
I'm obviously not one of them.

is there any chance to copy single trumbes out of the save file???
there are so many digrans and whatever at the trumbles section, that do i need for adding ONE trumble?
if i knew this i could make a thread where we can all past our trumble codes.

Did I hear my name?

Multi-coloured Trumbles are über-rare, but not as rare as the famed Albino Trumbles. However the fabled 'Sterile Trumble' is sadly a myth.

but have this one instead for your sig.

That'll be Cr30. :D

Failure to pay will result in Fierce Lizard bailiffs arriving at your ship/home/place of business to break your knee caps demand immediate payment plus disbursment charges, or confiscate and sell your property.
Enjoy!

<EDIT> Talking of sigs, It's nice to see another feline on the board, Selezen!

I don't know how these variables work, but I think these ones (from the save file) govern the behavior of your pets! At least I'm assuming they do as "hunger" and "growth_rate" sound a bit trumbley! :-

Code: Select all

	    <dict>
		<key>digram</key>
		<string>t+</string>
		<key>discomfort</key>
		<real>0</real>
		<key>growth_rate</key>
		<real>0.002491</real>
		<key>hunger</key>
		<real>0</real>
		<key>movement</key>
		<string>-3.300781 17.714844</string>
		<key>position</key>
		<string>-126.000000 182.000000</string>
		<key>rotation</key>
		<real>-0.717773</real>
		<key>rotational_velocity</key>
		<real>-3.652344</real>
		<key>size</key>
		<real>0.991699</real>
	    </dict>
	    <dict>

Cracked the code!!!
the design of the trumble is in the digram.
the design is build with 2 hex (MUST have a "x") OR dec values (can be ascii-chars or following)
<key>digram</key>
<string>&#xHEX1;&#DEC2;</string>
i use DEC values
this page can help you converting hex to dec or to bin (for better understanding of the codes, the bit-positions in the number are important)

BIN can NOT be used in the plist, use it for easier editing the codes

the value #035 #035 ( #x23 #x23 or 100011 100011 ) is a yellow trumble,
the value #035 #036 is a yellow trumble with a bit grey hairs.

please tell me your codes PER PM!!!
i'll collect the best codes in this page
and i will make a code-generator in this page

the first value shows what part of the trumble should be colored, and the second shows the color.
i think the parts which have a BIN 0 are colored with the negate
color or something like that.

I think the digram, and I may be wrong (not a first by any means (shut up, Stepan!)), dictates what elements of the Trumble 'identikit' are used to generate the Tumbles. If you look in your oolite.app/Resources/Textures folder at the native ship textures, you'll find trumblekit.png. I think the <digram> key refers to this.

Or not.

Well, I dunno then. It's just a part of Giles Greater Plan for the Ooniverse. All Praise Giles the Creator <genuflects>
