It is Christmas morning over here and everyone else is still asleep. Probably all tired after the late night last night, with all the gifts and unwrapping going around... (we do that stuff on the Christmas Eve in these parts of the world)

Still, it gives me a few moments to browse the net this morning...

Stop what? Wishinh each other happy christmas?

Personally, I'm pagan and don't celebrate chrisymas, but there are many millions of people out there that do and I respect their beliefs just as I would like them to respect mine. If they want to enjoy the holidays and wish people well then let em be nice to each other, gawd knows there isn't enough niceness in the world these days.

Of course, if that wasn't what you meant then feel free to tell me to shut the fook up.

Being a nihilist never stopped me from having a merry celebration of the roman conglomeration of the multitude of the-sun-god-is-dead-for-three-days-and-reborn-on-the-25th-of-December traditions of the ancient world. Be it Ra/Horus born of Virgin Isis or whatever. The return of the Sun (for us northern hemispherians) is as good a reason as any to have a party.
