This time I got this one, while I tried to post an answer in a thread:

In the end it all came down to a "can't connect to database", which sustained for about a minute. The post was there, though, when I looked again.

It does seem to get constipated once in a while.

This sort of thing seems to happen to me when my connection is running a little slowly, either 'cos of ISP network congestion or my progeny are downloading something big.

I think it is a case of requests timing out.
