Duct tape with some nails pointing out to look like a spiked collar, mirrored shades and we prop him sitting against the wall at a table on the bar.

Put an empty bottle before him, and presto: nobody will ever notice the resulting... ahem, scar.
Until someone shakes him to pay and vacate the table, that is...

I'll have some of that glue just in case.
