I just got to deadly rank, after weeks of killing. However, I dont think I will reach Elite anytime soon!

Heh, I'm Competent myself and I doubt I will even reach Dangerous very soon!

...I wonder if these titles are meant to be used like military ranks... Competent Wolfwood sounds a bit funny, but better than Poor Wolfwood did... :?

BTW: Why is it easier to reach the forum ranks than it is to get the Oolite ranks? Why are the requirements lower here on the forum?

Because the forum isn't the game.

Also because the post count dictates the rank, and the post count rank numbers have not (I assume) been changed from the phpBB defaults.

Nobody would be sad if there were 6400 pirates less. If everybody begin to spam the forum to get 6400 posts, that wouldn't be very fun at all. :^)

Congratulations!

I just passed the 5300 kill mark about two days ago... it's gonna take a while to get that last 1100 though. Bonus kills for completing missions aside, I was playing obsessively for the first few weeks after finding Oolite... to the tune of 70-120 kills a day. God, I love anarchies. ;)

Been playing since just before last Christmas.

I've got 12159 posts on another bb i used to frequent. And most of those were done in an 18 month period. It's funny how little work you do when you're bored with a job and there's more interesting stuff to do...

There's quite a lot of ELITE posters here so maybe they should reflect the game?

Well, just have a look at the ranking (sort by total posts and descending): Not even Aegidian himself reached 6400 posts.
