Accidentally I entered a planet's atmosphere the other day, and when I turned and wanted to leave again the sky looked like this (the small blue square above the crosshairs is the station):
I think that must have something to do with the new nebula-textures (and probably those of the stars as well, I don't think there were that much nebula on the sky) and the way they are handled.
You should know that Oolite is under development. All releases after 1.65 are in alpha or beta stage. So if you are playing with them and encounter problems/bugs/crashes, please report them here. This will help very much improving the game towards a next stable release.
If you, however, prefer to just play, you should install Oolite 1.65, which is the latest "official" release and generally very stable.
And again, welcome to the boards and of course to this great game itself!
Yay, a newcomer!
Even though someone beat me to the red carpet, I'll say it anyway: welcome, Lava!
You know those who, having been mugged and stabbed, fired, dog run over, house burned down, wife eloped with best friend, daughters becoming prostitutes and their countries invaded - still say that "all is well"?
I'm obviously not one of them.
Thank you for the warm welcome, and thank you for a seriously addictive game!
I have the latest drivers for my card and everything is set up correctly. Apart from that, the moments I actually experience the bug are so rare I do not really mind.
huh, i haven't even switched from the starting ship to a supercobra... i guess i need to read over what can be purchased for each ship on the wiki again.
