Following the very helpful response to this post ;

I have a 5.25" disk version game that I want to run on BeebEm.
The file itself (zipped) is 83K and I have extracted all the data but the trouble is I have no clue how to make a folder to act as a disk, or make the files into a disk image that the emulator will understand.
It is an exact copy of the file system used in the BBC B micro. It uses ;
!BOOT, MENU, UIM-1,2,3 etc with an .inf file for each.
Im fishing for a way to either put these into a folder to make a virtual disk or a way to make a disk image (.dsd) that BeebEm will understand and be able to run.
There is a version available at http://www.stairwaytohell.com, but alas because it is on a compilation, the program loads but then asks you to insert the actual disk, which is tricky because that image is a compilation and therefore not a direct copy or image of the original game disk.
So I'm a tad 'stuck'
Making a BBC B virtual disk image ?

Try posting your question on the EBBS, there's a wealth of knowledge on that sort of thing there.
