On a related issue: does anyone know how to force the Advanced compass to shift its lock from the planet to the station as soon as its within range?

I keep on flying past it - I'm sure I'll crash into a planet sooner or later because it's over the other hemisphere :D

If you set it to N (by cycling though with / or #) that'll home in on the Nav Beacon which is right next to the main station.
