haha...saddly...I've yet to be in a witchspace battle...

On the countdown to a whichspace jump either climb or dive this should deliver you into whichspace with a full on battle with the Thargs.

...And make sure you either have a) a spare fuel tank, b) chosen a jump to as sistem less than half your current fuel level away or c) have the Behemoth OXP. Otherwise your jaunt into interstellar space may be one way.....

I've never seen a spare fuel tank...(other than the tanks the woma's drop that seem to be scoopable...despite being larger than your ship...)

ah...that might be the reason I've never seen em...I almost obsessively keep my missile slots filled...I'll have to go check that out...

er...now that I think of it...I've never actually seen the fuel tank anywhere in the code either...is it part of the newer versions of oolite...as I have the Ubuntu FeistyFawn Autopackage...v1.65 I think...

yea...I use missiles to chase off Ferdelanes or whatever those are called...(although now that I have the cloaking device I've taken to just shooting them while cloaked before uncloaking to take out the rest)

also...I just realized that it's an OXP...further reason as to why I haven't seen them...
