Question about Oolite (as always!)

Hey, haven't visited the message boards for a while - real life intruding etc. etc.

Anyway - my question(s) - excuse my laziness, by the way, for not searching the bulletin boards (I know it's not forum etiquette - but I think the Oolite board is above and beyond all other forums - creep creep).

Where are we at with the latest version of Oolite - I hear that LB's Assassins is not compatible with 1.68 - so will it be compatible with 1.69? Is 1.69 due soon?

I have summer holidays soon and that means many, many hours of Oolitishness, but I don't want to progress to find that Assassins doesn't work with my current version.

Sorry to be a bit of a bugger about this.

PS - how is the Orb oxp coming along (I hear there are some revisions going on) - I know it's a bit buggy, but it's ace and you cannot beat the fact that when you are battling (and losing heavily mind you) pirates when several hundred of the buggers come along and spoil everybody's party!

Its a small bug with assassins (and also Ionics) and should be fixed with 1.69. Save files can be used on all versions of Oolite. So if you want to play assassins just download 1.65 Oolite and load up your save file on this version. You'll have to get your Iron Ass to Galaxy 7 and play the first five missions of Assassins before the bug would be a problem anyway. Assassins and Ionics are both OK with 1.68 until a system decsribtion is changed by the script. Don't Panic though. You can play assassins on 1.67 or below on the PC and can even play Assassins on 1.68 on the Mac with no problems!

If you play on the PC then you must use 1.67- to play assassins however.
