Tester wanted

Post by JensAyton »

As mentioned elsewhere, I’m working on completely new texture-loading code. This will be working soon – at least, this weekend – but since textures are pretty much a core component, I’ll need some alpha testing. Victims must have either a multi-processor/multi-core G5, or an Intel Mac, with shader support. A multi-core Intel Mac would be helpful, but testing on a single-core would also be useful. (The shader support requirement is temporary, but will allow alpha testing to happen sooner.)

I'm up for that - do you offer 'victim support'...??

I'm using a dual G5 2.5GHz, 2.5GB RAM, and ATI Radeon 9600XL with 128MB VRAM
Very funny, Scotty, now beam down my clothes...

Still need an Intel-weilding victim. There’s a reasonable chance that all the colours will be messed up on Intel systems, so this is reasonably important.

I've got a Core 2 Duo iMac, and happy to help.

Wiggy, have you got my private message with the link to the alpha? I haven’t received any feedback.

You can’t, as such. To post images, upload them somewhere else and use the markup (img)http://example.com/the-image.png(/img), with square brackets instead of parentheses. Or just send a piccie to <PYMOLCLSXGQP squiggle spammotel point com>.
