Constrictor Mission

Post by gravely_dangerous »

Hello everyone,

It would be rude for me not to start this post by pointing out what a wonderful piece of software Oolite is, I've spent virtually every night for the past 2 weeks dedicating myself to improving my wealth and upgrading my ship. :)

The only thing I've hit a brick wall with is the Constrictor mission, basically I can't find the constrictor anywhere. Does it follow a pattern across Galaxy one or does it just appear at random? Should I just give up and Galactic Hyperspace to the next chart?

If you hit F7 or 7 to get the planet info of the system you're in you'll get a hint about where to look ...

Hi there, g_d. Welcome to the boards! If you continue to have trouble with the Constrictor mission, there is always the Constrictor more hints OXP available on Oosat 2.

Also could you possiblyedit out the planet names, as there are players who haven't done the Constrictor mission, and it's a (little) bit of a spoiler. Cheers and enjoy playing!:D

Not using the F7 key is a common mistake, even for seasoned commanders sometimes.

I am.

I felt fuzzy headed because I 'mysterialised' the first mention of the planet but omitted the quoted part of the next message. So I had to come back and etc etc.

fuzzy headed is probably not an existing idiom.
Dazed and confused is more like it, I guess...
