Problem with the Ionics Mission

Every time I jump into Ramaza system I get a message asking for my help and can i land at the link base and the co-ordinates have been uploaded to the computer etc
Well what is the link base and as far as i can tell nothing has been uploaded to show me where.

I have just ignored it as i looked everywhere and gave up but i have just returned there to be greeted with the same message - help

Your computer cannot read the coordinates unless you have an Advanced Space Compass. If you do have one, switch target until you find an 'L'.

Heck, in my case the Link base was so close to the Coriolis Station I could launch from the Link Base and immediately hit "Shift-D" to dock with the station.

As I am neck deep in the mission as we speak I can only say that I have only encountered Gov't ships at Ramaza.
