Could that be the "black List" I've heard talk about (and may be on)???

# Share Alike. If you alter, transform, or build upon this work, you may distribute the resulting work only under a license identical to this one.
This refers to modifications of the game itself, or content taken from the game. In this case, you must use the CC-by-nc-sa 2.0 license. If your content is original, you can use any license you please.

It is my understanding that future releases of Oolite will be GPLed. Derivatives of older versions using the CC-by-nc-sa 2.0 license will still be subject to that license. Derivatives of the new version will be subject to the GPL. OXPs made from scratch, without substantial parts taken from the game itself, will not be affected by either license.

I’m now going to draw the aforementioned line under this thread by locking it. For technical or legal questions, start a new thread. For continuation of the argument (or bemoaning that it happened), please refrain.
