If it uses the same appimage metadata, I imagine it would be quite straightforward

Nice to see they are inspired by AUR. unfortunately it seems their AM act as a package manager for systemwide installs.
Having more then 1 package manager for systemwide installs is a recipe for disaster.

Their appman seems to install locally only and doesn't need root rights so may be able to coexist with systemwide package managers like pacman, apt, dnf etc.
