Crash into space stations beacon when exiting space station

Exit space station at ATRIENXE in Galaxy 1. No controls, high speed unable to slow and crash into beacon suffering catastrophic loss of virtually ALL controls and equipment (this has happened in another saved game, different station, same sector of galaxy).

Can maneuver very slowly, cannot slow down, but able to turn back towards station, but inevitably, with loss of all equipment due to crashing into beacon have given up on saved game.

I now have 2 saved games that are effectively unplayable.

Any suggestions please as to cause of problem and a solution please, and NO, I don't want to start a new commander, taken years to get to where I am/was.

It sounds like an OXP issue. Can you share the mix of mods you have installed? Also, are there any messages in the log file when the incident occurs that might give some clues?

The Overdrive OXZ made by Reval messes about with adding extra thrust to cover long distances quicker. That would be top of the suspects list.

Re Flying Dutchman - H's never appeared :)

Problem with crfash still happens have now effectiveley lost 3 saved commanders in G1 at station Atriexne ? Am using another saved commander and avoiding that end of G1 like the plague :x :x

Did you take out both Overdrives? You had two in there!

You might also wish to take a look at your latest.log - but only after you add in the [EliteWiki] LogEvents oxp which gets Oolite to put more information into it.



The flying dutchman does appear eventually. If you see him, scram!!
