Yurtlessness in Vetitice

In Vetitice, where dreams collide,
A communist paradise, vast and wide,
Yet atop the hills, where the eagles soar,
Lies a longing for a yurt, forevermore.

The parking meters stand, a metallic line,
Counting moments, as if to define
The worth of a space, the cost of a view,
But what of the heart, what of the true?

No yurt to shelter from the cosmic night,
No canvas embrace, no flickering light,
Just the hum of machines, the clang of the trade,
In a world of abundance, yet comfort betrayed.

Oh, to gaze from a hill, with the stars in reach,
To feel the soft earth, to hear nature's speech,
Instead, we find steel, and the echo of plans,
In the heart of the city, where progress demands.

Yet still, in the shadows, a whisper remains,
Of a yurt on the hillside, where freedom sustains,
A dream of a space, where the spirit can roam,
In the communist paradise, we seek a true home.

So let us remember, in this world of design,
That yurtlessness echoes, a longing divine,
For in every heart, there’s a hilltop to climb,
A place to belong, transcending all time.

There's a time for prosaic parsimony pending poetic prolixity, and a time for plain English. EMWTK: how come google, inter alia, can offer translation between e.g. English and German, but can't offer translation between different dialects of English, or de-registration of utterances in distracting registers of English?

AAT: how does one correctly parse the previous sentence, in particular the phrase inter alia? Does it mean that (1) google, among other providers, offers a translation service, or (2) translation is among several services google offers? How can one know? How can one be sure?

Onset within two hours? The Coles grocery delivery arrived at 1:58 p.m. - the only contact I've had in a fortnight. I felt sick before 4:00 p.m. - I consumed two cups of tea, between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., assumed I have food poisoning.

it should work with BGS and XenonUI. Not ideal, but at present there are no interfaces into either of those OXP's to allow for anything else.

There is a translation of the biblical "Song of Solomon" into the Norfolk dialect (If you have a favourite verse, we can inscribe it on your memorial in TOGY) And there used to be a regular column in the local newspaper, the Eastern Daily Press.

Saw my first yurt last week - just north of Oxford, up towards the Tews. It was in a rather posh garden centre and was the dining room/restaurant for a rather larger kitchen to the side (Michelin Guide recommended, apparently). It was closed. I peered inside through the windows and didn't see you.

I quite like the look of that, thanks for sharing the photo. A pity about the bland concrete floor; marble, mosaic or parquet would have been nifty.
