I think the major problem is confusion - mixing up planet surface tweaks for textureless planets with tweaks for textured planets means you have to read through the entire list to work out what's up. Otherwise you could just read through an alphabetic list and pick out what was relevant.

The list on that wiki page used to be just one long alphabetical list, until many years ago, I divided it up into meaningful categories, as best I could. If you want to go back to that unusable state, go right ahead.
