Hey folks,
Not really sure where to ask this but I somehow screwed up my map? It's stuck on the full galaxy view and won't zoom into the local view. idk if I did something dumb or if its a bug (probably the former tbh lol) but I thought I'd suck it up and ask for help.

Re: Dumb Map Question
I'm no expert, but I'd just like to understand the problem properly... So, when you press F6, it only gives you the full map; and trying to toggle F6 does not toggle the the local view...?
Could it be an OXP?
"Don't ask me. I just work here."

Re: Dumb Map Question
I know what's happening. You have zoomed out the short range chart to the max, so it now looks exactly the same as the long range chart. The only way to know which one you are viewing is to look for the "Find planet:" text below the chart; this appears only in the long range chart and allows one to search for planets by name.
To fix: Press F6 once or twice and ensure that you do not see the "Find planet:" text. If you don't see it then you are looking at the short range chart. Once there, just zoom out and things will get back to normal.

Re: Dumb Map Question
THANK YOU. I don't know how I zoomed out when I didn't know it was possible before, but that was it. Sanity saved!
