[WIP] The Trident

Oh no..... I've actually started this now...

Coming soon from xMx shipyards, The Trident, the bastard offspring of the PitViper and the Sulaco.

I probably won't have much skill in the texturing department so will throw that out to anyone who wants to. Probably need a whole heap of simplifying.
Also, I really like Wings3D over Blender. Seems a who load simpler and quicker to get done what you want.

The model still needs work, some cleaning up, simplifying and getting it actually symmetrical.

I'm guessing the Pitviper didn't contribute many genes.. :wink:

Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

Agreed - I thought it had something to do with a Trindent Executive Shuttle when I saw the name ;).

Indeed.
I was unaware of the other ship of the same name. I will of course, rethink the name and the design to be honest.
