...regarding my overuse of OXP's. It has done this to me once before (early last week) and I've had to start reapplying all the OXP's I found interesting (Yes, nearly all of them and yes, I know some of you/s warned me.) all over again.
This time I think I found the culprit OXP that was causing the game to not quite start up again. I had to go into the managed-add-on's folder and find them. The last couple of what I believe are from the Miscellaneous category and still not sure, if it's one or more of those specific OXP's or the OXP count itself that was not allowing Oolite to launch.

BTW, which folder should have all the save files in order to use them again. Because I just found them in random folders within the game folder and put them all in the Game Saves folder, but they are not showing up when I go to reload my game.
They just tweak minor aspects of the game, I can’t see how they would prevent the game loading. And none seem resource intensive, either.
My understanding of a_c’s critique was that it primarily involves massive and complex OXPs such as Svengali’s Library, DGill’s Feudal States and phkb’s Ship Configuration. These then affect the hundreds of other oxps one might have loaded and the straw then breaks the camel’s back. Would 300 uncomplicated (no turrets for example) ship oxps all by themselves really break the game?
I ended up ditching Ramen’s Planner as too clunky to be useful. Once I tried typing more than one line it all went squiffy on me.
I prefer to have sub-folders inside my AddOns and ManagedAddOns folders: Just Now decanted OXPs, Just just Now decanted OXPs, Just just just Now decanted OXPs, G2 OXPs (G2 Povray Planets & missions) etc. On my AppleMac they are unrecognised by the game and are easy to manage. I find that keeping everything in Oolite Starter’s “disabled” folders is too confusing for me.

I may need to ditch more of them. My game keeps crashing to the desktop after using the Witch-Space Drive...

Just flicking through your list… I’d remove all the HUDs you are not using. And Beetle Bethlehem’s Life in the Frontier Revival clashes with his Life in the Frontier.
BTW, two things I haven't been able to do since, I started from Lave. Now, I have reached Birambi (Not sure of correct spelling there...) I have not been able to replace, sell or fix my Extra Energy Unit on my journey so far and I have not been able to find a licence for Hyperwave Radio...
