But please don't hold back. Do post if you've got more ideas. There's been so many pretty and funny ads and any further ads that appear may be put into a rotation set in the future, if/when enough have been submitted beyond the first 100.

While waiting to see whether there'll be enough new submissions to validate a the release of a rotation set it's very easy for anybody to replace ad images in the textures folder of the expansion with new additional ads posted here.

BTW, I used to have problems running the old version of YAH, my old system just coudn't handle it!

New version runs no problems and no slow down, so I'm finally getting to see the Adds in game. Love it!

Glad to hear that it works for you now. With so many pretty ads, it would be a shame to have to miss out of them.

When oxp'ing a problem that needs to be overcome (as so often with creative work) is to learn to kill your darlings. First reducing the number of models for the convenience stations from 48 to 4 and then reducing the number of textures for each of those from 6 to 3 (hull, dock and front ad) by getting rid of the ad textured docks weren't easy decisions to make. A lot of hours of work had to be trashed. But the OXP benefited - and after all the point was to pretty up the game a bit, not to make a theoretical OXP

Well, you are part of a community of some of the best (some would say deeply-troubled ) minds. It's a powerful entity and with DH, Rxke, Uncle Reno, reills and myself all crammed into the ol' clock tower picking off spammers at different intervals, it can only get more powerful.

I kept checking both while placing the last graphics in the files and uploading even while making the post to avoid this happening. I just had a feeling that it was going to happen anyway.

Great one Voodoofoone. It looks good too and gives a good reason for everybody to submit some more to get a new set going. Until a new set is released, people can play with temporary replacing ads in the release with new ones posted here to make their own favorite mix.
