I have just learned how to re-enable markets in old OXps and have got The Coachwhip Hoopy Casino market up and going . Back in Oolite 1.77 frozen and stiff I recall Gold, Platinum and especially Gem-Stones were always a a fair bit cheaper as was Furs. I always pictured some little bespectacled rodent after a bad night on the roulette table betting his skin on one last roll then getting the hand placed on his shoulder to get led away to loose his fur and carrying the scars about for a lifetime like a bad tattoo.
Other commodities...
Food - Expensive and plenty of it available, you know what these gambling establishments are like.
Textiles - Could punters "loose the clothes they are standing in"? - I'm thinking cheap textiles although only in small quantities.
No radioactives.
Slaves - Betting your freedom on the turn of a card? Yes cheap, although a limited supply.
Narcotics - Cheap or Expensive? I'm not sure yet, but certainly lots of supply.
No Computers, although would someone loose their ship and have it chopped up for betting on a slow Aronarian Mega Donkey?
No machinery, but see above.
No Alloys.
No Firearms.
Furs, yep, cheap, but not overwhelming quantities.
No minerals.
Platinum and Gold - Plenty, at about 10-15% cheaper than the local market.
Gem-Stones - Plenty available and 25%ish cheaper than the local market, a nice little earner if going to Usle and back, lovely Jubbly.
Alien items - Yes, but I cant decide if they are cheap due to the station pawn shop or expensive due to the gift shop?
Any suggestions appreciated.

My only experience of such was in Manchester where food and soft drinks were free.
