... I was looking for interesting electronics...
Tottenham Court Road was always good for that.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Thanks for that, but the logistics I'm talking about is making sure I can arrange an alternative carer for my wife for the day whilst I'm away :)

I can navigate around that London (I love me some GPS) I just don't like it :D

Daddyhoggy is insteresting in finding out more and popping back into the forum, but he registered here with an email address that lapsed a few years ago. Do we have any administrative staff that could help him change his email address to a new one? I can provide contact details if necessary.

Murgh had the same issue. He reincarnated himself as "Old Murgh" but with the same icon as the original.

If your wife cares to join us, I'll happily stand her a drink!

Hi folks!

Thanks to Selezen for the heads up on this one, sounds like a great idea. I would love to come, but am in the midst of moving house, so may not be able to attend in person. If I can I will though. :)

Right on, Commanders!

Cheers,

Drew.

Hi Guys,

it's been a really long time since I posted here - the story is long and not for this thread - that aside, thanks to @selezen for the heads up - I've put it in my diary and I fully attend to be there (life notwithstanding).

It will be amazing to catch up - haven't seen so many of you since the early days of ED (prior to release) and our occasional Christmas get togethers (including Drew's novel releases!)

All the best,

DaddyHoggy

Surely you'd be able to park the house outside the pub for a few hours?

I laughed far too hard at that. I may have done myself a mischief. :D

Well, partly the desired effect.
The mental image of a council tow-truck, tooled up for one of those "moving the house" rigs that the Merkins like ...

Issues, issues ; looks like I'm going to have to cancel my birthday trip down to see the family. Which also means, cancelling the 7th July trip into the Great Wen.

There are around half a dozen of us who have publicly confessed to planning to be there (including our helmsman, Himself). Don't know what happened vis-a-vis planning the last one, but you can tell us on Sunday!
