Wiki backup server is available

The new wiki backup server at http://backup.witchspacewiki.org is up-to-date now, and pulling all changes from our main wiki at 05:00 am CET daily. I will soon decommission the old backup server, so please update your bookmarks where applicable.

The new name is quite something! Very much approve.

It is more a discussion board than a chat room in that the conversation is not transient, meant for discussion of article content, style etc.

I haven’t actually used it myself though, so I only just read up on it, and I’m not aware of our particular configuration.

As far as chat rooms go, I believe there is only the oolite channel on irc. But no one goes there anymore, it is more quiet than witchspace.

I spent far too many hours in oolite irc. Even on a good day, there were rarely more than half a dozen of us.

Is this Wiki backup still valid? Looking at the backup site I do not see recent changes. So whatever automatic mirroring might have been in place I believe it no longer works.

I am not running into timeouts but get 'address unreachable'. It is down.

I've had no response to my pm. He's not even read it yet (I can still edit it...).

He seems to be all over Facebook etc and to be in the US, if it's really him.

Apparently he has not been reachable - at least that's what this stranger claimed.
