In the past couple of weeks I've been arriving at Ensoreus to discover hundreds of ships waiting at the Witchpoint Beacon.

Is there an easy way of discovering where they all come from? To get the latest log to record which OXP is generating them? Is there some simple tweak which I'm ignorant of?

I'm presuming that it is due to a recently downloaded update, since the problem only recently appeared. I've never seen it before.

I'd previously arrived at Ensoreus to discover a massive billowing cloud of hundreds of ships at the witchpoint (which also has, within 80km, two Mining Rock Hermits).

I just tried jumping out of and back into Tianve with the tester which Cody gave me. According to the Long Range Scanner, each time there were roughly 650 "ships" in the system (which is what I'd expect for a high TL system - maybe even a little on the low side - and perhaps 1/3 are asteroids). But on jumping back in, there were again, hundreds clustered aound the Witchspace beacon, and arranged in a line from the beacon towards the Main Orbital Station.



Now, I do understand that the real reason for all this is religious. But still, it would be nice to be able to easily track down which OXP is behind it all!

Actually very useful for debugging.
Would it be possible to add a 'source' property to every ship and populate it with whomever called the spawn function?

Yeah I've had a similar experience. Here's my scanner just after jumping into Zaonce:

The thing is, that was a few days ago, and I was in the middle of other things and didn't get the chance to work out the issue. Now when I jump to Zaonce it all looks ok.

I'll run some tests to see if I can get the issue to re-occur.
