So I found Oolite whilst browsing apple's site around 6 months ago. The whole package is great, and I'm running about a dozen OXP's. I used a Josher to build up a nice bank, then went for a SuperCobra which got me thru the Constrictor. Of course, that was traded in as soon as I found one with the Naval Energy Unit. The only equip not fitted being a escape pod and a passenger berth. So, yeah, I like to blow stuff up and not get creamed.
I suppose I'm a bounty hunter-collector with around 1200 kills. I don't attack clean ships or do any smuggling in this current role. Which is another great feature as you can always start a new Cmdr as a pirate or whatever you like.
Recently, I flew up to a casino that was being attacked and started to pick off targets. Spotted a casino security ship that was a fugitive, and then the whole screen went white. WT@#! I survived that casino blowing up from about 1km. away.
I thought that was really wild, then today topped that when 2 Behemoths collided right as I was going to dock with one. This time I remembered to get a screenshot:
There's always something to get your attention....
