Ever since the dour Cameroonians and poor old Teresa, they have massively increased their amusement value (presuming one doesn't rely on such vulgarities as money to maintain any sort of lifestyle).

You had to learn to reject spurious data - which was a valuable lesson.

This reminded me of a counterexample. I heard that at one point a certain search engine decided to try a new design and initially it seemed to be performing terribly. Upon closer examination however, they discovered that it was performing so much better that their bot detection algorithm was being triggered and erroneously rejecting the data showing the improvement as spurious. So one must learn to distrust data of all kinds...
