The zebra python - nice! Zebra-striping has been used as camouflage on ships.

Don't quite see how this counts as camouflage (unless they regularly sail amongst flocks of sea-zebras)... maybe just designed as head-ache inducing for attackers, what?

It does make it very hard to work out which bit to aim at…

...and especially (in its day) heading. Slightly easier to see but significantly harder to hit. Dazzle Paint I think it's called.

Splendid!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

Some fun with rescaling...

Image

Planet textures holding up well at x4 (perlin off) and OXP compatibility appears generally very good.

Not a bad place to be held in a queue.

Image

Alpha a tad too high on this image but otherwise quite nice.

Yes, mm nice. As with the pics on the other thread, your rescaling efforts seem to do a lot to strengthen suspension of disbelief. Very well done.

The planet is positioned at (proportionally) x1.5 distance from the witchpoint, so there's a wider view on system entry.
BTW, I may have a task for your considerable skills, if you are interested

That's all I can hope to achieve realistically, so if you think so then that's got to be good :D It's getting all of the elements to play together nicely that is the tricky part.

Thanks both :)

Having just had dinner, a digestif is in order - a carajillo, por favor!
