Not sure about joining, but certainly posting is a problem. But that could be related to general Internet issues in his part of the world.
Did his joining problems ever get sorted?
And did he have oxp's (HUDs,
etc ) to publish?

Gaarrnn!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

I'm not sure. I haven't had contact from him in a couple of years now, and my last email went unanswered. Given where he lives, I think an unreliable internet is the least of his problems.

We were working on two: a tweaked HUD designed for smaller screen sizes, and a mission OXP. The mission OXP is a long way from complete, but the HUD is probably publishable. I was waiting for confirmation that everything was working when communications dropped, so it's been sitting on my HDD since.

De nada! Can't have cbr protesting, can we!
Another one from the archive: one of Povray's earth-likes, and I can tell it's old as I'm flying
Rolling Thunder , and the screen ratio is 5:4 (still my favourite screen ratio - widescreen is for movies, not for gaming. Hopefully, gaming monitor makers are beginning to see that).

The zebra python - nice! Zebra-striping has been used as camouflage on ships.
