Can't find Fuel Injectors

Help!

I can't find Fuel Injectors for purchase. I've been trading between Lave and Zaonce. Isn't tech level 12 on Zaonce high enough? Could I have accidently installed an OXP that eliminates Fuel Injectors?

Welcome aboard, Commander! Zaonce should be fine for buying fuel injectors. <scratches head>
I'm no expert when it comes to OXPs that might preclude buying them, if such exists.

Perhaps you could list which OXPs you have installed, so someone could look them over. Your Latest.log would serve.

Yep, there's no way to attach files - it's C&P for logs etc, and hosted/linked for images (and very large files).

I'm brand new to Oolite but am an original Elite player from Comm64 and Apple IIE days.

I couldn't see a single OXP in your list which would prevent purchasing injectors, other than Ship Configuration OXP. If you are still flying a Cobra Mk.3 then it is not incompatibility with your ship which is the issue (pace Montana05, just above)

Might you have already bought them and just not realised? Just press "i" while in flight and see if your speed increases 7-fold! Or see if they are listed on your F5 screen under Equipment.

It is probably phkb's Ship Configuration, and if so, you now need to purchase them through Ship Configuration itself. Read the wiki page for complete details. You will probably find that they now come in 613 different varieties and you need to select the appropriate version with foresight, skill and aplomb!

*Go to the F3 Equip Ship screen and select the "Ship Configuration" item from the list. You will find that some of the Vanilla game equipment is now only purchasable in this way (eg Fuel Scoops, Heat Shields, et cetera.).

Fuel Injection

Fuel injection systems dump unused Quirium fuel into your engines, giving you a massive boost in speed. If your engines are damaged any fuel injection system will not function.

There are 4 different classes of fuel injection systems:
Class 1 Burns 50% more fuel per second, and only provides half the speed boost of Class 2 injectors. Uses 0.5t of space. (TL5)
Class 2 Achieves manufacturers declared specifications with regard to fuel burn rate and speed boost. Uses 1t of space. (TL11)
Class 3 Burns 40% less fuel per second, and gives a 20% speed improvement over standard Class 2 injectors. Uses 2t of space. (TL12)
Class 4 Burns 60% less fuel per second, and gives a 40% speed improvement over standard Class 2 injectors. But uses 4t of space. (TL13)
