Yes, the image I tried to upload was 50k so it will refuse anything.
I've mailed Winston, so he he's hopefully soon aware.

Good news! I received a concise communiqué from our benefactor Space Lord Winston. I believe he has come to the rescue and mended the image upload/thumbnail issue, and increased the upload limit.
Good news indeed, thanks to our ArchWizards and Space Lord Winston. However, the upload limit for images is now at 1 MB, I believe, and some files proof it, it was higher before.
Strange, it looks like it should be at 8MB, and for the mercy of the browsing reader I would encourage images with some compression. I think my web-ready 50k jpg looks fine.
Most of my images are around 1 MB or below, and usually I am using thumbs, so there shouldn't be a hassle with browsing. In rare cases, it could happen that a file is above 1 MB, maybe 1.5 MB.
I believe the limit for OXZ's was 100 MB, for images I am not sure.
At least 2 Mb for images, if not moremontana05 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 01, 2022 1:45 amMost of my images are around 1 MB or below, and usually I am using thumbs, so there shouldn't be a hassle with browsing. In rare cases, it could happen that a file is above 1 MB, maybe 1.5 MB.

Paging Makarius!!
Just now I encountered this problem - but not exactly this problem. I got the 'too large' error, but none of my images is >= 1MB. Rather:

Note that those are the respective sizes of the uncompressed images, i.e. the images when they are outside of the OXZ (really a ZIP) file (although I applied an image compressor to the files even before I zipped them, which means that in the case of most of the images the zipped size of the image is identical to the unzipped size).
I note further the following.
- With this upload - the one that failed - I had made no change to the images.
- The total size of this upload is, I think, slightly smaller than the previous version (because the only change, apart from the version number, was to have run a code prettifier that reduced the size of my script files).
- When I delete the images directory, the file does upload.
Strange!
Murgh, I've had the same issues since yesterday afternoon (no problems yesterday morning).
Just to see if I understand: the images are contained within your OXZ when the upload is denied, and same OXZ file is accepted as an upload if the pack doesn't contain the folder with these images..?
Is this still so? I just now successfully uploaded images, everything normal..Cholmondely wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 12:30 pmMurgh, I've had the same issues since yesterday afternoon (no problems yesterday morning).
Yes.
No. The images appear as 'faststone.png' only because of how a file association is setup on the PC that is at issue. Once inside the OXZ, the files show as .png. The same holds for my other OXZs and the wiki is choking only on one of those OXZs, namely the one called 'ExtraThargoids'.
It does seem like it.
